AVAILABLE POSITION: PIE PRODUCTION TEAM MEMBER - FT

LOCATION: Greenbank and Freeland

RATE: $18-$20/hour, DOE & Benefits

DESCRIPTION: The Pie Production Team Member will work in our production crew, both in our Greenbank and Freeland locations. This person will have excellent time management skills, knows how to work well with a small team, and maintains a positive attitude in a fast-paced setting. Applicants must have their own transportation to and from the job site and be open to early start times.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, but are not limited to:

  • Hand make pies (dough preparation/pressing, pie filling preparation/placement, and pie crimping;

  • Prepare, secure and move finished pies to assigned locations for distribution and baking;

  • Bake and package pies for final distribution;

  • Understand and implement various processes and procedures including food safety measures, employee safety procedures and quality assurance standards;

  • End-of-shift clean up and preparation;

  • Be a flexible and adaptable team member able to accommodate a rotating day-time schedule which include early morning shifts as well as be willing to perform other duties as assigned.

Food processing experience is a plus but not necessary.  Experience with the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA), Food Safety knowledge or a desire to gain food safety certification a plus.

  • Able to repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds (all positions) and work on your feet for 6–10 hours a day (all positions) in a fast-paced environment;

  • Proactively contribute to creating a good team atmosphere by supporting and encouraging all team members, and fully embrace and demonstrate inclusivity, diversity, and equity in daily interactions;

  • Be an organized self-starter, punctual, and dependable with a positive, solution-based attitude and effort;

  • Able to meet daily production goals in a timely manner;

  • Be honest and well-groomed;

  • Must have dependable transportation to and from the job site.
